Best yum yum donuts in South Bay area. The donuts are always soft and never dry compared to the San Ysidro location. The associates are always making new batches of donuts and they are very friendly . I personally recommend trying the cinnamon, sugar , and glazed donut . You won't be disappointed.

Donuts are good and customer service is amazing and genuine. Absolutely loved the girl who helped us. She greeted us kindly and and was so sweet the whole time. Also, their dozen counts at 14 donuts!

Best donuts in San Diego! Polite staff members and great drink selection too! Go for a maple bar and you definitely won't be disappointed!

I'm giving this place a 2 and here's why....
I have been here probably 4 to 5 times. The first two times the donuts were fine. The third time I had the worst stomach ache after eating a donut and my sister as well. The rest we have been fine BUT the customer service is ALWAYS the same. The couple there, the lady is nice but when I get the husband he is rude. And you might ask yourself, why go back after feeling sick after eating a donut? Well I believe in second chances.... but yes the husband is always rude. I just came in today for two donuts and he gave me the wrong ones. After I politely asked if I could get the flavor I wanted, he just grabbed the bag from me and threw it in the trash after I had said that I had not touched any of the donuts. I will definetly not be coming back here. It just sucks because there is no other donut place near my home. -

Came to Yum Yum for an after dinner dessert. There's plentiful parking in this shopping center, something I worry about driving in San Diego. The shop has an old establishment type of feel (like, literally nothing looks updated), so I figured there'd be some good mom and pop type of eats to be found.
I absolutely loved their chocolate bars (unfilled long johns), which was fluffy with a delicious chocolate icing. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed by their chocolate iced Bavarian cream filled donut, which was stale with cream tasting more like spoiled banana cream pudding. The strawberry iced donut tasted nothing like strawberry -- just a pink dyed, regular tasting icing. The bubble gum icing flavor is interesting, but only mildly flavored. Their bubble gum and strawberry donuts are cake donuts.
If I came to this shop again (I probably won't), I'd stick with the regular old donuts - no frills, no fillings.
